i had a blast on saturday doing my first truathlon at roe valley!!
bitten by the bug and plan a few more before the end of the year, id also be keen to do one involving open water
so where does one buy a wetsuit ? im no strange to neoprene( ohh err!) and would prefer to try a few suits on rather than mail order.
any decent retailers?where are they?
or do i have to take my chances with one of the GB retailers?

Richard Timms is the local agent for aquasphere, I don't know how competitive his prices are but you should be able to try before you buy. A number of other on-line wetsuit companies (search on-line) let you hire a suit for the season, with the option to buy at reduced price at the end of the season. I personally bought the SNUGG made to measure suit, which was very reasonable and shows no signs of wear and tear after 3 seasons. These are particularly good if you feel that you do not fit the standard measurements the companies give you.
